Bascom Destrehan “Dit” Talley, III

Consulting Positions:
Dit founded and has led CGC since 1982. CGC is a Washington DC-based consulting firm specializing in leadership and management development and organizational assessments. The firm maintains a list of both public and private sector clients and pays attention to changes in accountability in both sectors. Current clients include Dollar Tree Stores, Inc, the National Archives and Records Administration, and the New Jersey Office of Counter-Terrorism. Before starting CGC, Dit was the Regional Director for the Mid Atlantic Region for the American Management Associations. [1978-1982]

Teaching Positions:
For the past six years Dit has taught at Johns Hopkins University, School of Education with the Division of Public Safety Leadership, where he is now a full-time member of the faculty. In addition to his regular teaching responsibilities he also coordinates the Intelligence Analysis programs. Dit has taught for the Graduate School, USDA in Washington, DC as an Adjunct Faculty member for the past twelve years and before that with the Office of Personnel Management since 1982. In addition, he has taught at the H. John Heinz, III, School of Public Policy and Management at Carnegie Mellon University, in Pittsburgh, PA.
